As this is my first time in any forum I am not sure where I should have placed this message, hope it gets to the right person.

In the February issue reader's exchange Rod Lloyd asks where he can get buy purslane seed. Try www.victoriananursery.co.uk/herb_seeds/purslane_seed/
Chiltern Seeds had it in 1997 but I have been out of England a while now.

I think I bought some last year from a Jekka's Herb Farm stall in Bristol. The 2009 catalogue suggests that you can order the seeds as part of a salad herb selection. The website suggests you can order the seed on its own.

Is it winter purslane you are after? It's also called Claytonia and can be obtained from the Organic Gardening Catalogue. I dare say others have this too.
