Just posted a message which has now disappeared into the ether :(

So if this appears twice, I'm probably just having a blonde moment!!

Christmas Greetings from SW France. IT'S SNOWING - YIPPPEEEEE
First time since February 2007.
Believe it or not, Sunday we had 25 degrees in the garden . . . ate our lunch outside. It was 41 degrees in the greenhouse

Hope Santa was good to you all.

Love,
Chris

Dear goldilox, the weather in the SW France sounds as strange as here in the home Counties. We keep getting a right old mix of weather.

And yes Santa was very good to me thankyou, he seems to have left his wife here. :)

Well i'm not sure how many wives Santa has got, but the one he left me had the same clothes, but was a lot prettier and had a nice figure.

Greetings Goldilocks! Nothing like getting snowed in in front of the woodburner (any chance? How much snow due?). We were supposed to go to La Drome area tomorrow but have cancelled our trip for health reasons. We were there the 3rd week of Nov and got snowed in, had to follow the snow plough out of the mountains. Very nice.
I think there is more snow around this year (as opposed to last year being so poor on the snow front in Southern French Alps). I spoke to my dad today in Victoria, BC, Canada, they have a few feet of snow right now! unheard of in their area, last seen in the early 70's.

Its so much more exciting when the snow comes at Christmas! Get out there and make angels in it Goldilox.

Unfortunately, there wasn't enough to make angels - only about an inch.
Today, the sun is shining and melting the snow pretty fast, so maybe we'll have another unseasonal warm day.
Still, it was nice while it lasted. We don't get much snow down here.

And yes, the log burner is in full use at this time of year, but snowed in? . . . don't think so!
