Evening all!-I'll be taking delivery of my first dollop of manure in a few weeks - I should have finished my winter digging by then!? (Should add newish plot and the first time a lot of the plot has been dug and weeded in a while!)
Is it best to spread on top now and rotovate it in the spring or does it need working in now? Does it matter :?:

i'd spread it on top now, the worms will pull some of it in over winter, whats left on top will supress weed growth over winter. you could have the beat of both worlds and dig some in as and when you get time, but dont bust a gut trying to dig it all in this month cos it is just as beneficial left on top.
