I want to send a bunch of flowers through someone like Interflora. There are so many companies that do it now (Post Office, Tesco, Sainsbury etc) Which is the best in your experience ? Many thanks

We have always used Interflora and been extremely pleased with them. I think they operate through their membership of florists shops so what your order will always have been put together and delivered by a local expert. I once had to query something we sent to my mother-in-law and Interflora investigated the delivered flowers on the same day - it turned out mother-in-law's failing eyesight was the problem!
I guess all these other suppliers like Tesco are simply acting as agents for some other central supplier so you get basic standard stuff, like you see in their stores.

I can throughly recommend Interflora which I use at least half a dozen times a year. Never failed me yet.

Wiggly Worms (that is their name isn't it?) do a bouquet that's organic, seasonal, looks very beautiful in the catalogue, although probably on the costly side. Never actually bought anything from them, but I do like their catalogue.
Also, Age Concern do a bouquet where the proceeds go to charity.
Both available online I think.

stick with interflora if you want a bit of quality,if your not happy with there delivered item,they will resolve any issue no problem

I have used John Lewis online the past 2 times I sent flowers, my mother was thrilled with her bouquet last month, and it lasted ages too. Recommended.

That was me by the way, I don't know what is going on with my computer at the moment, it doesn't want to keep me logged on!

Tesco flowers are absoluteley brilliant cheaper than Interflora as no delivery charge depending where they are being delivered either by post or delivery van another way is to buy by post from the growers in the channel isles I have bought Tesco flowers on the net about 6 times per year for the last 2 and 1/2 and all the recipients have remarked how good they are ! what more can I say and you get the points !

My first vote would go to John Lewis, second to Interflora, then it's a free for all between the supermarkets.

The best thing about JL is the quality of the flowers and the quality of the delivery. Interflora are good. The supermarkets are predictable.

Of course - if you have a local firm - as we have in Bridgnorth - they're better than any of the nationals as they're in direct competition.

It depends what you want. If you want masses of fresh flowers in lovely condition sent through the post in a basic bouquet for about £10 total they are ideal. If you want a fancy bouquet, they're not. I've used them loads of times and they've been really good.
