I got back from a week in the Lakes on Saturday. We have had wonderful weather and have walked and cycled to our hearts content. The tree colours were out of this world, it just cheers you up no end. Yes we did have some rain in the evening or the morning before we set off but we have had a really good week.

Now I can set to and plan for next year in the garden after having cleared my head about this year. The frost just before we went away cleared out my polytunnel as I forgot to close the top doors properly

I read your dog posting before this one, so nice to read you had a great time.

I must head up that part of the country one day myself.
