Which flowers can be planted in the Autumn?

Some flowers can be planted in the autumn - like foxgloves. I presume this gives them a head start and helps them flower earlier in the spring.

Does anyone have a link or any information on which flowing plants do best when planted in the autumn?

Thanks,
Kranser.

Now is the time to plant Wallflowers for spring flowering, you will find garden centres have them in stock now also some vegetable shops may have them.
