These cloches were made by a company called M.W.H.S. in Kent. They are a metal frame with a plastic cover which has U-shaped flaps in it. The flaps allow air to circulate and water to get in.

I can't find any trace of the company who made them, but does anyone know if you can still get replacement covers anywhere?

Looks like you have been unlucky. I had some of these in their very early days (about 1976 I think), Geoff Hamilton liked them before he got the diy bug. I found the cover plastic was not correctly formulated and became very brittle far too quickly for such an expensive product so I didn't buy replacements, later ones may have been better. I never found a way of recovering them so all I have now are the galvanised tubes that I use as stakes.
I changed to Kerricloche galvanised hoops but sadly those seem to have disappeared off the market too.
