After all the varied woes of the summer, I think the last four days of summer weather and another five at least forecast deserve a mention.

I have to smile at the thought of all the people who have stayed in the holiday home across the river. Everyone has has poor weather. Now there's nobody there and the sun is likely to be shining on an empty house all week

Hi Alan,
It's much the same here as well. All this sunshine and miles of beach, just left to the local's and their dogs
Cheers PJ.

Sue and I had a lovely time on the allotment today. But the fine weather is too late to save the tomatoes; I spent most of the time gathering them up for burning.
