Hi all,
I'm off to Dulwich this weekend to give my daughter away! Can you all pray for sunny skies on Sunday at 2pm for me. The forecast isn't too good

Don't worry about the speech, other people have forgot their lines too.

Thanks for the good wishes. The speech won't be very long, and there are various versions of it in my head. Hopefully one of them will come out as it was intended

Hi OH,
It was a lovely day all round. The rain held off at all the important moments, which was a relief. There were no disasters at all, and I even managed the dreaded speech without any problems

My son came over from Uganda with two of his children for the wedding, so I have them staying for a few days. All in all it's been a very nice week.

Glad you and the family had a wonderful time Parson Jack...a wedding is always a special occasion.
My brother was Best Man at my other brothers wedding and he speech consisted of the following.
"Ok lads, bars open"
Then he sat down again
My mum gave him a big dig with her elbow so he got up and said a few other words
