An Audience with Terry Walton

Having just received my email newsletter from Wiggly Wigglers, I spotted this little item at the bottom of the page

" At 7.30pm on Friday October 10th we are hosting 'An Audience with Terry Walton' at our local village hall in Preston on Wye. Tickets cost £7 each and all profits will go to charity. There will be local food on sale and a bar. If you would like more details or tickets please call 01981 500391. "

I don't have the vaguest idea where this is, but I'm sure someone on the forum must be local.

Hi Chantal

Here's Preston on Wye.

Next question: who's Terry Walton :?:

Are you really asking that Alan? Terry Walton has 2 allotments in the Rhondda - used to be 10 - and is on the Jeremy Vine radio 2 show - usually on Fridays. His book, "My life on a Hillside Allotment" is well worth reading both for the gardening tips and the social history of South Wales - useful information for Gogs when they come down south!

Thanks for the map Alan

Terry Walton is also "Terry from the Rhondda" in The Big Dig.

PM me if you would like details - I am not sure if anyone plans that far ahead though
