Hi Petera and welcome to the forum.
About 30 or 40 years ago (time flies!) local breweries used to deliver spent hops to the allotment site I was on at the time.It was always a mad rush to be first at the heap. They are a good soil improver and are fairly high in nitrogen, so good for leafy crops. How lucky you are to have a regular supply. I haven't seen or heard of them for many years.
