Hello Alan
In your links, how do you get, for example, 'CLICK HERE' to show in your post instead of the full path eg 'http://www.... etc' that I always get when I try this?

John

You type [url=
then paste in the URL
then type

Here's an example:

CLICIWCH YMA

I typed [url=
then pasted in http://news.bbc.co.uk/welsh/hi/newsid_7 ... 515617.stm followed immediately by ] then typed the Welsh instruction followed by

I would just like to put a little picture in the box next to my name. Simple as that. I have a lovely picture of sunflowers from last year which my granddaughter took and I love the picture so much I wanted to use it. But it wont let me. Dont know why.

Hi Catherine,

The picture may be too big. It has to be a maximum of 120 x 120 pixels according to the profile page.

Wish I knew the answer

Clive is the only one who posts clickable thumnails from Photobucket - perhaps he'll tell us how to do it.

Hi Alan,

I've just found it buried in the Photobucket tutorials.

Hello,

The photos I post are firstly uploaded to a free account I have on the Photobucket website (I am sure there are many other hosting sites too?).
http://photobucket.com/ If you sign up for an account do read carefully the options...to tick/un tick...There was one about sharing? photos ?? I think?? I did not allow sharing?...so this keeps the rest of the saved photos behind a password...

With photos in situ on Photobucket, or other?, there is an option to auto create the address link to post in mail, forums etc....there are options for posting full size, etc, etc...and one to post a thumbnail. This address link for the thumbnail is copied and pasted into the reply pane on here...

....and hey presto. :)

...hopefully

Clive.
