Happy Birthday Rosie Cat

My darling Rosie is NINETEEN this week and still as beautiful as ever. :D

I can't believe I'm lucky enough to have shared so many years with her and long may they continue.

She's sitting beside me as I type this, one paw on the keyboard as usual. A bad habit, it has to be said, as I frequently have to spend hours trying to remove cat fur from underneath the keys.

Dear Rosie, a very happy birthday to you, hope you get plenty of fuss today. :)

I bet the only reason your fur gets stuck under the keys is because your Mum drops chocolate cake on them. :)

She gets plenty of fuss every day OH, she makes sure of that. I don't eat chocolate cake

She knows Primrose,

She's sitting here purring away as if she knows were talking about her...

As she is now 133 if we work out the equivalent to human years, I'd be in the Guinness Book of Records if I were older than her!

Cheeky monkey

I do feel pretty old today though, after a hard day of weeding and drinking tea with Seedling

It's the sitting down drinking tea that takes it out of you isn't it :)
What's the weather been like up there today?

My cat Bitsey (named after a football player apparently, not my choice) - whose other name was 'single cell' - from his stunning lack of IQ - lived to a ripe old age of 21.

Our latest cat, 'Terry' is a tad younger at 9.

Dear K.G.Admin, you have just made my afternoon.

If a stunning lack of IQ reflects how long one lives, i should attain a right old age.

Doesn't look good for all you clever folk.
