Dear Donedigging, i think old codger is quite used to me taking a bigger portion of the limelight. :)

As for my beans, the ones i set out very eary are starting to flower nicely now.
As for the slug eaten ones, i let the slugs clear them just to make old codger feel better.

Hope you are feeing a whole lot better, but still taking it easy.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Hi OH,
I read it that you have a hard head. Was this gathered at the school of hard knocks?

I have just been over the lottie to see O.H. and i had to help him chase a deer off of his plot, it had been eating his broad beans. oh deer deer :)
All the best

Hi All,

I was just relieved that the price of the mag hadn't gone up. OH, does this mean that you waived your usual appearance fee
I suppose you're still living off the proceeds of your centrefold spread in "Fishnet Stockings Monthly" :)

Cheers, PJ.
Cheers PJ.

I'm just off down the greenhouse. I won't be long...........

Probably time to remind you that it's a long time since OH was last in print -fifty years ago.
