Sending a PM

Dear Moderators or others who can help,

I replied to a PM today and clicked on "post". Later I looked for my reply in the Sent items and couldn't find it. It is in "Outbox" instead. Does this mean that it hasn't gone? If not, how can I make it go to the recipient?

Think it goes to sent items from out box when the recipient has read it Mike....

Compo is right Mike, it's not like an email, you don't hit "send" you hit "submit". Your message then goes into your out box until it is collected by the recipient. It then moves to your sent file.

You can do nothing to make someone collect a message but you can put a posting up for the their attention saying a message is there, just in case they've missed it.

I submitted a PM,the other day and it hasn't stored in my "sentbox" either, so don't know if it arrived or not?

Dear Donedigging, if you click on your outbox when you have sent your message it will be there, it will stay coloured until the receiver picks it up.

If it's not in your out box, or in your sent box, i'm not sure that it has been sent.

Any of your boxes are not 100% full are they, as this will stop messages being sent.

I'm not sure what has gone on then, i think i would send them another one and check your outbox straight away.
