onion sets

Hi, wonder if you can help? I have some onion sets that I was going to plant this week but as we are supposed to have more snow and sub-zero temperatures, shoukd I wait til thats passed? or will they fend for themselves?

I would hold off for a couple of weeks, I put mine out in Mid March to April normally here is Sussex.

They are pretty tough but is planted too early they can be prone to bolting.
