Has anyone watched HFW tonight. I thought at times it seemed quite good in places. Though he has developed the same problem as alot of presenters recently, SHOUTING. What about the poor veggie girl who was wanting to eat meat at her wedding. Why. If she is a veggie then dont eat meat. I hope it improves over the weeks.

We too dont watch alot of tv. But I do make sure that we get all the gardening programmes. I think that there is too much violence and aggression on the box these days or too many reality programmes so prefer not to bother. I like your photo of your parrot! Does he/she have a name?
That is Chicco I have always wanted 1 , got him for an early Christmas present , he was 1 year old on the 17th of this month and I love him to bits my OH is not sure though and still a bit scared of him !
as he likes to bite/nibble ears
he is a CAG Congo African Grey

I also like all the River Cottage programmes. But I did not enjoy this on as much probably because of the member of the public getting involved and like I said if she is a vegetarian then why would she want to eat meat at her wedding. She took to handling meat a little too easily for a person that did not like eating meat.

I simply cannot get my head round that either. I am vegetarian, and it is quite possibly the last thing I would do at all, let alone at my wedding. How strange!
I thought she was doing it as in her culture Ghanaian, the diet was based on meat and she wanted to fit in and eat the menu chosen for the wedding lots of people do not eat meat as they do not like the taste not for ethical reasons as for me I am a carnivore through and through

Much as we usually like him I think it was a bit of a disaster. Think he has gone the way of the BBC and let the production team destroy his spirit. I blame all these Media Studies graduates who would be considered too thick (because they are) for a college education in my day. It looked like his site had become chaotic as well. At least Joe Swift is no longer alone with silly beds!
