Raspberries

My Raspberries have some lighter coloured leaves and those leaves affected are smaller than the normal looking counterparts.

Could it be due to the fact that manure has been spread over the area during the winter months and it hadn't matured sufficiently?

Will the affected areas recover in time?

Hi Weed,
It looks to me that your plants have a viral attack to which Raspberries are very prone.
I ask when were they planted and what was the source of the plants?

Thanks for your prompt reply JB

The plants were moved from a neigboroughing bed two years ago ... when I took the plot on they were in an area covered in couch grass so I dug them out and removed the couch then replanted the bare root plants.

The soil is heavy clay and I have added manure, compost and other organic material over the two years in order to improve it... I thought I may have overdone it
