Hello everyone.

My new Robinson 10X8 is being put up on Wednesday but I cant decide which way round to have the bench/shelf and wonder what the wisdom is.

The house comes with a 25" width bench down one side and half width shelf above it - the full length of the house. The sun will come predominantly from one side as although the long side faces south there is a 30ft laurel hedge behind it.

So do I have the bench at the back so the fully lit side is completly open or have the bench at the front so the back wall is free.

I didnt realise this would be so difficult to explain when I started.........

Any insights gratefully received.

I get on well with an East-West ridge with staging on the West end and North side with the door at the East end. I also have removable staging for the South side which I use until I plant the tomatoes. It is a solid floor house.

my greenhouse has an east/west ridge, door on east end with staging on the north side. the bed on the south side gets full sun for tomatoes which like all the light they can get.
