It's strange how your 'children' always remain your 'children' however old they are. We've just had a text from son No 2, 47 years old, who is in China for three weeks. All is well, he is well away from the earthquake area. That was a relief!

How dreadful, though, for the thousands of people affected, and those still in Burma, too. Are we not lucky to live in a stable environment!?

Dear Monika, glad Son No2 is safe and well, i can't even start to think what you were going through until you heard from him.

And i can't agree more, we are very lucky to be living in a stable area.
There are so many people born into horrid situations, that are completely out of ther control.

And we still end up grumbling about things.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Monika glad you had good news about son NO.2, in times like this the mobile phone is so useful for a quick message home.

My son is in the army so I know exactly where you are coming from, he is a bit younger though at 25
