I found a great book in a charity shop called 'The five love languages' by Gary Chapman. You can get the gist of it from the website www.fivelovelanguages.com
What is your love language and it helps to know your partner's too. My primary love language is 'words of affirmation' with 'physical touch' a close second. A great book for improving relationships with anyone of any age.

Mine too is the same.

Normally, in this house, Big Andrew will show his affection by saying "Have you finished that chapter yet?" or "Have you put your bookmark in?"

A good one I heard for telling someone how much they mean to you was from a very good friend. His wife asked how much did he love and need her to be in his life. He replied with

"My darling, you're the shit on my shovel. What more do I need in life!"

Spoken like a true lottie holder

I won't say what she said cos of laws of decency
Lots of love

Lizzie
