I have planted out my spuds, earlies and lates.

I had a few spuds left over, so ive filled up some plastic sacks with compost and put 2 in each one.

Thats as much as i know, can someone give me a few pointers on spuds in a sack and how to care for them.

Thanks Mike

Earth up as they grow, and make sure you water them. Try not to forget about them, as I did. On the plus side though, we had some lovely new potatoes in January! No beasties in the pots/sacks, so they were perfect. :D

Don't forget to make some drainage holes in the bottom of the sack, otherwise they will turn to sludge and rot.
