Hi,

I've just grown some thyme, lavendar and sage from seed and was wondering how big they should be before i move them, some of them are quite crowded, the thyme especially.

Sorry if this is a bit of a newbie question but i only rarely grow from seed.

Hi Manda

The rule I go by is when the plant has got a couple of true leaves. They are a little bigger than the first leaves to sprout from the seed.

When I get them, I pot them on into square 3" pots (i think they're 3" anyway)

Hope this helps. I grow everything from seed and have found this method generally works
