Shallots

Last year I grew some shallots from sets I'd bought at a garden centre. I had quite a good crop, which I "stored" all winter in open dishes in my kitchen (so often very hot, often cold and also in daylight). I've still got quite a few left - they look in good condition. Will they be ok to plant for this year's crop? [/code]

Yes probably.
I have stored shallots, two types, one is sprouting now and I will plant out some sets soon, the other is still 100% dormant but I will still plant out some.

Hello Sean
Absolutely! If they look fine, they should be fine. We did this for the first time very successfully last year. See the previous thread below for others contributions too.
