Read in the paper today that a shop in London is selling coffee beans (and cups of coffee) which have been through the digestive system of a civet cat

.
Apparently the cats cant digest the beans so they come out the other end and are collected and made into coffee. £50 a pound for the beans. And people are buying it and drinking it
Do these people all have "sucker" tatooed on their foreheads. Why why why would you want to drink something which has come out of a cats bum?

Not so bad, I suppose. Londoners drink water that's been filtered by other people's kidneys, don't they?

Oh, I forgot to say, according to Metro the stuff is retailing in London coffee house for £50 per CUP, not £50 per pound.
How do you think I could persuade Rosie to start snarfing down coffee beans and do you think I con Tim into standing by with a sieve and a stick?

Well, I wouldn't pay money for anything which came out of a cat's bum, but do eat what comes out of a hen's bum ! (Alan got there first!)

The only good thing I can see about all this nonsense is that the money raised from the £50 cups of coffee goes to Cancer Research.

Um, I hate to be a pedant, but eggs do not come out of a chicken's bum! They don't poo eggs!!

It does all come out of the same hatch, just at different times.
Ooh Alan, I've just read through that web link and my eyes are watering. I own chickens, I have seen chickens laying eggs having peeked at just the right moment, but gawd that looks painful.
It does also go a long way to explaining why my little Pekin had a prolapse; poor baby, prolapesed on her 2nd egg and died
