Being a new member I would like to say hello to everyone in the Forum.
I have had a look at some issues in the general chat and it is a pleasure to see so many people helping others.
If only it could go international

Ray

I must say I have found this a very friendly and helpful site and have raised a smile many times reading some of the things that happen to people. Please keep it up everyone, I find I am switching on at every opportunity to see what has hap.pened or been said or to get advice Particularly the veggi against meat munchers posting.

Welcome Ray... I try to dip into the various debates when I get the time

Catherine...I have to say I enjoyed that paticular debate too, so long as people don't take things to heart...we are all individuals after all.

I have never thought of myself as a "Carcase Cruncher" before

Welcome Ray.
I think going international would make interesting reading but be rather frustrating to those of us who have to grow our fruit & veg in this rather difficult climate. Imagine reading constant reports of excellent yields of mangoes, avocados and other exotic vegetables from sunnier climes while we struggled with blight on humble tomatoes and potatoes caused by conditions like last summer :(

Hi Ray
As a recent poster, let me also welcome you.
Some questions get answered, other post are about debate, to which there is no answer.
I hope you enjoy it.

Thank you all for your kind comments.

Primrose - if what we hear about global warming is true then you may just be growing the exotic fruits and veg in a year or two.

It may be longer for us on top of the pennines.
Thanks again

Ray
