all these onions that we have sown in modules since around christmas time,do they need a feed now or not.if so i would be gratefull for advice,
does the same apply for leeks ?

In a word, Yes!
Onions are gross feeders, and should have been "moved on" into larger and larger pots as they have grown.
If they have not increased in size by now, that means they have run out of feed in their present situation.
