Can you advise of a small bush pea, one which doesn't need much support would be perfect, which would taste really sweet for my daughter to grow.
She would be eating them all straight out of the pod I should think, so the one that tastes the best raw would be better.
I'm trying to get her interested in growing things and for the first time this year she has her own small raised bed :D

Dear Womble, one nice little bush pea is Little Marvel.
It grows just a little over a foot tall and the peas are very sweet and easy to pick.
It's also a fairly early variety, so you shouldn't get to troubled by the maggots of the pea moth, as these can be very off putting for children, and some grown up's too.

And as one last bonus, the name is nice as well. :)

Pea Half Pint from Plants of Distinction are ideal for children. You can grow them in a pot. They make bushy little plants with lots of pods.
