How sterilised is commercial compost supposed to be?
I am using Gem JI2 as a component of most of my mixes with a soil less compost and am getting loads of weed seedlings, I'm convinced they are coming from the JI.
I was going to fill in a customer feedback form on their web site but it doesn't work and I don't like a complaint costing me money by phoning.
This shouldn't happen should it?

Afternoon Geoff, if i bought compost or soil that is meant to be sterilised, i would want it, weed seed, insect and harmful fungal spore free.

And i don't think that would be an unfair request.
