I've just had a quick look on their website and they have fruit trees coming in for £4, including Victoria plum and Stella cherry. The only slight problem is to know what rootstock they're on & how big they will get, but hopefully the packet will give an idea of this. They've also got mediterranean stuff including citrus, figs & olives.
I really, really shouldn't put any more fruit trees on my allotment, but I did lose a mirabelle plum a year ago, and I could probably think of at least 10 other reasons/excuses why I should get just one more, maybe........

I got one of their plum trees a few years ago and it's fine. It's about 6ft tall and I keep on pruning it so it doesn't get any bigger.

I might go in and have a nose about this week.

Netto also have 5 packets of seeds for £1. Choice is a bit limited but they have fruit and veg. It's worth a look.

The seeds at Lidl are good too and excellent value @ 29p and 49p.

They've got a 'gardening special' week, starting this Thursday.

I was contemplating buying a couple of the plastic cloche tunnels advertised. Has anyone had any experience of these? They are 2m x 5m and £3.49. They will probably only last a season

That item is on my list as well. The photo looks very similar to the one I bought a few years ago and, although it's only a plastic covering, is still going strong, so I may buy a couple. I had my best ever crop of early salads under these, so I'm quite a fan. The seeds are good too, I grew quite a few last year.

I think I'll go for one of the cordless trimmers, I have my plot done out with box hedges and they take some trimming back by hand. The tunnel cloches look similar to the ones sold in wilcos for £4.99, these were ok but the ploythene was very thin and the hoops were in two parts and again quite thin, I had them up for a few weeks but there was no cord to keep the poly hooped over the hoops and once the wind got under it was up and away.
