Did you miss mie Herby?

Got puter back today and am still figuring it out. My motherboard was totally ****** and needed a new one. Anyway, the whole bloody thing cost me £107 with an extension to my memory (God knows I need all the help with that I can)

Watch out for your roots Herby....I may be coming to give them a little trim

Grockie has been working very hard, bless her. Plus the Grocklets are off school and have all been poorly.

I'm glad everyone looked after you whilst I was away. I'd hate for you to get into trouble. You being such an innocent littler Herby Bush

I may find the courage to once again venture into Herby Land.

Maybe i'll give you a little early spring trim

With a new m/board and added memory - plus fitting, sounds like you got a good deal there.

Nice to fix rather then throw away and buy a new one. I always try and persuade people they actually don't need the very latest PC to surf the net on, I think we're turning into a very poor throw-away society, and the lower cost of electronics makes a lot of people more willing to throw away and buy rather then repair.

That is true Kitchen Admin Bod.

A new box would have cost me more. The bloke is really good but, because he's so good, you have to wait quite a while for him to fix anything. There were over 20 boxes before he got to mine and he's like that on a permanent basis.

Still, i'm back online again and can talk and plan and plot again with Herby and the others till my hearts content
