Runner beans frozzled

I left about 30 runner beans growing to produce seeds for next year. They were not quite ready when the frost frozzled them. Will they be worth keeping ? Would the pod have protected them enough ? If so should I remove the beans from the pods or let the pods dry with them inside first ? They were the best runner beans I have ever had. I can't remember what they were and I didn't keep the packet. Advice needed please.

well if u throw them away thats the end of it, try shelling the beans then leave them on a plate on a warm window sill to thoroughly dry them, then plant next year they will either grow or they won't. my guess is they will be fine.

Thanks Richard. I have now shelled them and chucked out any green ones. Hopefully half of them will survive. Kind regards. Happymouse

Try Lidl or Aldi for seeds at about 50p per packet - you don't have to worry about keeping seed.
