Hi Grock
I think I should be around, although I'm not sure if my parents will also be here.
Are you planning fancy dress or come as you are? If fancy dress, what's the theme this year?

Aaaagh. I might miss the party!
We're going to Cornwall for Christmas and I don't think there's a PC in the cottage that we're staying in. We planned it with Don and his wife in mind, but we're still going to go.
I wonder if I can get a laptop with an internet connection sorted out in time?
Chanters and Peter - you're the IT wizzards. What would you recommend?

I'm no wizard Tigger, I'll leave this one to Peter.
It's Tena Lady OH

They're little things that ladies use when they have a tendancy to wet their pants. Now you
really wish you hadn't asked!

Sorry OH, not joking
Ladies of a certain age and indeed of an uncertain age, take great risks when sneezing or coughing unexpectedly and also when laughing too hard.
You don't need to be a lady of the night either.
Work it out...

Does the cottage have broadband?
Hmmm, doubtful.
Does it have a landline?
Maybe, but possibly not.
Does Tigger have a mobile phone that has bluetooth?
If yes, then get a laptop with bluetooth capability and surf the net via the mobile.
Also, open an overdraft facility.
A mobile phone with internet browsing capabilities would probably fit the bill a little better. I have an orange M600 windows based mobilephone and will try it in a mo to this thread.
Mobile phone posting!

Tigger not fast, a bugger to stylus and touchdscreen type, but it works. Second go as I hit back button instead of shift ket, so no drinking.

Tigger already has a Blackberry, won't that do the job?
