Driving home from Devon last Friday I saw baby lambs in a field. Spring has sprung very early !

Hi Happymouse,
Spring sprung at the beginning of November locally. I could scarce believe my eyes!

Just to sound very prosaic: it's more likely to be the result of a randy ram/tup in summer, than an early spring!!

Hi Monika,
You are spot on with what happened although the Lady farmer will not admit it. I actually remember when her Tups getting out of the orchard and onto the road and a passing motorist saw sheep (Ewes) in the field and let them in off the road!
