Digging into a compost heap I found something I have to assume is a fungus.
It reminds me of walnuts - flat large walnuts, but with the same rinkly surface, colour and brittle/greasy texture. It didn't seem to be attatched to anything in particular.
Any ideas, and most importantly is this a pest or disease risk for my plants?
