lots of my early pics stored on my computer and on disc are in microsoft "picture it" format. and hey what do you know they are unusable in that format in most other aplications (in fact probably all other)apart from picture it. i have tried a couple of file conversion progs but no luck. anybody know how to convert these to J.peg or any other readily usable format. tks paul.

It would appear that picture it should save files in the jpeg format:

Have you tried using Microsoft Legacy? If you go to Start/programs/accessories/program compatibility wizard, this can update old versions of things to run on newer computers.

I bought a CDROM that was designed to run on 95 and by putting it through this program can now run it on XP.

I don't know if this will help you but it's very easy to use and entirely self explanatory.

Good luck
