Spreading manure on my allotment today, found quite a few self sown sweet peas about 1/1/2 high,[sorry still imperial] now do I leave them, or pot them up, what about all the seed I have bought for next season

I had some self setters that went through last winter just fine and were earlier and equally as good as my late october sown in pots. I am seriously thinking of cutting out the middle man and sowing direct this October. the only thing i will say is they certainly werent as advanced as yours, i would pinch them back quite hard as is common practice with the pot grown and let one of the side shoots carry on through the winter. One year i reckon were all going to get caught out with a nasty winter so make sure you have some provision to cover if needed...S.T.
This is an edit.........
was that 1 1/2 inches? I had a funny momment there and assumed you meant 1 1/2 feet!!! in which case ignore the advice to pinch them out at this stage.....back to the funny farm again.Theyre comming to take me away ha ha he he....
