Does anyone know if you can still buy an original Garden Claw. Someone has asked me to look out for one, but i'm not sure if there are any suppliers in this country any more.

They still sell them in the States on Ebay, but i was hoping to find one localy for them.

Is a Garden Claw one of those things with which you scruffle up the soil by holding it at right angles over the soil ( - bit difficult to explain, but I mean at 90 degrees rather than a hoe which you hold at about 45 degrees)? If so, I have recently seen one at a garden centre but don't know what make it was.

Dear Monika, thankyou for your reply, i think it is what you are describing. But the ones i have seen in the garden centers are not the same as the originals.
But not all is lost, as i'm watching a second hand one on ebay, so no bidding on it from any forum members please. :)

Hi OH

I saw one at a boot fair on Saturday morning. If the boot fair is on next week and it's still there, I don't mind buying it for you if you can think of a way of getting it from me to you.

Dear Chantal, i'm prepared to come and pick it up in person, but after such a long journey i would probably have to stay over night,
Don't panic i'm only joking.
Thankyou for the kind offer though.

I think i'm going to be getting them one from America.

Dear Chantal, i have just looked at the map again, and suddenly it doesn't look as far as i had first thought, and i'm sure i wouldn't have to stay now.

Johnboy my dear fellow, i think Chantal probably thinks too much of her hens for that.

Hi OH,
I meant to put a smiley after the facetious remark and hope that you realised that. I will put it here instead :)
JB.

Dear Johnboy, i could imagine your smiling face as you typed that message for me, and it also made me laugh without the smiley, and i have to say it's no more than i deserve, :) if i hand it out i must be prepared to take it back.

And i can imagine you laughing at my ill treatment too Chantal.
