Dear Shallot Man, i don't think bats are actually blind, it's just that they cannot see anything. :? :lol: :wink:

...but, as bats are not blind, they see when it's dark, just like the rest of us. Then they use echo-location to get around.

"Blind as a bat" is just one of those old myths. I've never seen a newt in a pub, come to think of it :wink:
