CALLING MR BEAN (or Mrs)

Right 1st things 1st
My runner beans i've:
Frozen them
Salted them
Pickled them
Eaten them
Even the cat has had them introduced to her diet (she eats them raw as well as cooked. She also eats raw Sprouts !!)
What I need to know is, can I eat them dried like you would do with say Borlotti or Butter Beans. I have such a glut, as most of you will have, and it seems such a waste just to keep a few for next year and compost the rest.
