Well tomorrow's the day for our Forum get together over lunch.
Two questions: What time would folk like to meet? Is there anyone planning on being there early enough to 'manipulate' a bit of space for setting up the munchies?
Let's hope we have good weather and a lovely day. See you there.

Seedling and I hope to be there as the gates open at 9am but I don't know how we'll nab a decent parking space. Last time we were just told where to go and no messing! However. we'll do our best.
What if we all meet by the gate to the gold car park at 12:30 like last time? Will that suit everyone?

Stomachs are ready already.......if you see what I mean.

Me, Grock and my mum are hoping to arrive between 10-10.30am. We're leaving at 7.15ish and hopefully the traffic will not be too bad at that time of the morning.
12.30ish sounds fine to me.
I've made a lovely lemon tart but have just discovered that I have nothing to carry it in
I'm a daft tart..........

Hi Chantal,
I too am aiming to be there before the gates open.
We normally aim to park on the left of the show entrance. If there is a few of us we just park incredibly badly leaving large gaps. Wanting a peaceful day I will say nothing about women's driving! (I feel that somehow I shall regret even saying nothing!)
I have carved a plateful of Gammon and cooked the Sausages (all 45 of them) a few Tomatoes and half a dozen hard boiled eggs.
Had some of the Gammon for supper and it is quite flavoursome.
See you later.
JB.

Apologies to all for not managing to make it this year. I did hope to, but have been busy working, and the 3.5 hour each way drive was a bit too much onna sleepy Sunday morning
waiting to hear all the gossip!

Dear Chantal, i'm not really interested,

now i had a terrible job even keeping a straight face while i typed that.
I JUST CAN'T WAIT!
I was thinking about you all at about 12.30, while i sat here by myself with some dry old bread and a glass of water.
But things did improve when Jenny turned up with a bottle of wine.
I hope Tigger's not to tired to tell all.

Hmmm, too tired is just no real excuse Jason (sorry I woke you up at 11am

) but I'll accept that the distance is a heck of a drive.
I'm sure Tigger will be online later but she's been up since 4am so who knows.

Hi again folks, it was great to meet you. I was also very impressed with the venue and the sheer quantity of stalls & displays. It wasn't possible to do them justice in the limited time we had available.
Next year, I will try to be more organised on the catering front. In the meantime can I say that in addition to your gardening skills, you are all excellent cooks

You can come again Colin - you're easily pleased! I'm not talking about the food or the company, which was excellent - I'm moaning about the show. It was the worst ever for plants and seeds. It's meant to be a gardening show!!!!! I can feel a grumpy old woman letter coming on.
That'll reassure you all - I'm back to normal after my moment with the great man.
