What do you do with animal pests?

Deter them by any legal method.

Following on from mandylew's cat caused, mouse and pigeon problem I have become curious about as primrose put it how "soft" we all are.

This one had a topical answer from the Australians, who have been flying salwater crocodiles hundreds of miles from beaches where they wers "a concern", only to find they swam back within days.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.
