We have today harvested our last potatoes, two rows of Sarpo Mira, grown from 40 tubers, and I have never seen such an eonormous crop - and they are completely blight-free and only about three or four tubers had been attacked by slugs. They taste good, too. I don't know how they cook in water because I always steam our potatoes, but they really are worth growing.

hi Monika!
We did likewise yesterday, and they were all huge! A few with slug/wireworm damage, but totally blight free. The larger ones are massive and the flavour is good. They make great jacket spuds (check for holes first though!!)

I grew both the sarpo varieties this year and have been really pleased with the resuls, huge potatoes, no blight or slug damage, no scab which usually i get loads. I roasted them and they were fine, good as any other maincrop.
