Yesterday, I tidied up around my young brassicas

. Some had failed to thrive, but the purple sprouting broccoli and some other things looked promising, one of which was called "revenge", ironically.
Today-several rows of stalks only

.
If I ever catch the rabbit responsible, he's dinner!

Probably made a quick getaway down the M4.
It may have been pigeons though.
Regards, Gerry.

Hmmm, we get pigeons eating the brassicas and lettuce in the garden, and rabbits eating most other stuff on the allotment.
And we have a terrier whose idea of hunting is Much Enthusiasm and Nil Skill.

If there's lots of other herbage around I've had some success with fleece to dissaude the bunnies from my precious brussel sprouts (only ones in Lincolnshire, taking orders for christmas). It also keeps off the pigeons and caterpillars.
Famous last words as I speak the rabbits have probably worked out how to get under it!
