Has everyone seen the KG article on garlic by Steve Ott in today's Daily Telegraph Gardening? "An extract from Kitchen Garden Magazine" it says; that should boost the ratings.
It's on the website too for anyone who wants to copy and save the garlic growing info.

Steve does get about a bit, do you think that is his own hand or does he get a stunt man for the more difficult things.

He does get out and about doesn't he. Does he wear Marigolds to help keep his pinkies in tip top photogenic condition?

I see we've also had a mention in the Sunday Telegraph - Home section today. Alex Mitchel (BigPepperPlant?) in her column gives us a plug. Who is this 'bucolic bearded wise man, living in a garden shed ... who dispenses horticultural advice' around here?
Could it be Johnboy?

Hummm - the subs offer code mentioned in the article is now active online...
As with any subs offer it's open to existing subscriber who wish to boost their current subscription by the offer.

So pleased you saw the piece in the DT - that's my 10 minutes of fame come and gone, wouldn't want any of you to have missed it.
By the way - I do most of the stunts myself, although I do get Lady Lettuce to do the very dangerous stuff. However, I always insist on wearing the marigolds!
Have a great weekend on your plots.

"For all I know Johnboy may live in the suburbs and work in data inputting, but to me he is a bucolic, bearded wise man, living in a garden shed, taking the piece of straw out of his mouth only to dispense horticultural advice."
Well, will the real Johnboy please stand up.
I like the idea of Johnboy the IT whizz-kid
