My neighbour grows them each year and has fantastic results with them (well, they're massive but I don't know what they taste like).

i have grown kelsae onions for the last three years. they will grow to about 2-3 pounds each and the taste is very good but they do not keep all that well.
traditionally, i understand, you should sow on christmas day and prick out when ready.
