NO! It can`t happen surely!
Isn`t there anything you can do?
Isn`t there any right of appeal?
Are you in the NSALG?
What about legal advice?
Can`t you all make a loud noise and refuse to go?
Campaign! March! Sit down! Organise!

HI
First of all your Council cannot just tell you that they intend to sell the land

There has to be consultation period with site committee and all its allotment holders

Your Council has to also satisfay the secertary of State before any Allotment Land can be sold

I would ask question of your Council via your local MP, inform the press,as Elderflower has said get ORGANISED and make plans as to what you need to do to win

is your site members of the N.S.A.L.G.Ltd because they have the knowledge and expertise in dealing with all this

I hope this is of some help and If I can help in any way I will and remember be strong
Good Luck and Best Wishes
Kevin

I'll let you know how we get on. The sale of the allotment site is said to fund the swimming baths - the council are obviously looking for support from the non allotment holders. Really this in my opinion is nothing more than covert bullying.

Maybe they're hoping you'll all roll over and give up your plots without a fight as this would save them a shed load of money. I honestly don't think they can do this to you all.
