I was just outside before in my back yard and there is a Liverpool home game on tonight. I live about a mile away from Anfield and normally I only hear cheers if Liverpool score.
Tonight I heard the lads singing Johnny Todd (which has never been played in Anfield ever but was done so after it was requested by Reds fans)and You'll Never Walk Alone plus the minutes applause for Rhys Jones. Every single person in the ground joined in and some of the away supporters have been to where Rhys was killed to lay flowers and show their support to the family.
It's certainly brought a lump to my throat. My son is 11 years old.
A sobering reminder that there are mainly good people on this planet.....

Dear Lizzie, these can be scary times we live in, but we must keep things in prospective, as you said there are a lot of good people out there to.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.
