I must be going crackers as I posted this yesterday but I can't see it. :roll:

Does anyone know what this bug is? It's the size of a ladybird and the markings are black with light gold/silver.

Rubbish photo, sorry, but the little sucker kept scuttling around. :roll:

isnt it just a type of ladybird?
perhaps its a funkybird was it wearing docs?

I'm sure as young Jopsy said there are different types of Ladybirds, much the same as people really. :)

I did wonder, but I've never seen one that colour before and I have quite a few on my plot, with identical markings (or one bug rushing around a lot :lol:).

It could well be a Harlequin Ladybird - which are apparently very variable

Thanks Alan but nope, it's like none of those. The colour is very clearly silvery/pale gold and black rather than red/yellow and the markings don't match. I'll try and get a better photo of the next one I see.

I do hope it's nothing nasty. No one on our site can tell me what it is.
