potatoes

My neighbour watched Monty Don on the TV, and thought that she would try something out. She put a couple of seed potatoes in a black bag, and did all she should have while they were growing. Anyway, came the harvesting day. Carefully cut the bag, and then went to harvest her "new spuds".
There was not one there, nothing. She was not amused, but her son was on the floor laughing, tears rolling down his cheeks.
There's a moral there somwhere!
